Hi, my name is Jordan. I’m an acoustic guitarist & singer based on the Mornington Peninsula.
I have been in the music industry for over 20 years. I started out hosting Karaoke shows and DJ’ing all over Victoria. Continuing my love for music and singing I started creating my own bands from the early 2000’s, which has continued to grow over the years. I am well known for fronting various cover bands and tribute shows such as LIVE & Midnight Oil. This has given me the opportunity to travel interstate and perform with some of Melbourne’s finest musicians in some of Australia’s best touring venues.
When the entire world stopped in 2020 and the music industry came to a halt, it impacted all of us immensely. I had to be quick with ideas on how I could keep the industry alive, not only for myself, but for my friends of whom share my love for music. This is when I created Virtual Pub, and it was a massive hit. I reached out to multiple musicians in the industry and invited them to play on Virtual Pub online. Australia loved it. We even had some international viewers. Virtual Pub’s special guest artists such as Lee Harding, Joe Laf, Matt Bradshaw to name a few, really cemented the quality show Virtual Pub had become. With weekly episodes lasting through all of lockdown. We engaged with our online audience taking requests, making jokes and announcements. We enjoyed laughs and good tunes together and received generous donations for the musicians performing each night. The overwhelming response and appreciation from our isolated audiences for the two years we spent online was such a heartwarming experience, and we’ve made those connections forever. To this day, Virtual Pub fans still attend gigs in support of the musos and friendships they made.
During covid I started learning guitar and made it my mission that once we came out of lockdown and got back to performing live, I would be able to take on solo gigs… I DID IT!! I practised day and night, I played on multiple episodes of Virtual Pub, and over time I learnt a large variety of songs to play and sing along too.
Fast forward to where I’m at now, I play at multiple venues across Melbourne which include popular spots like Crown Casino and many more. The hospitality industry on the Mornington Peninsula is one of the finest, and I’m privileged to be able to play at many of its amazing locations too. I sing and play guitar for several bands and duo’s such as 4Play & Fudge. I also play weekly solo gigs. I’m available for private functions. I can also MC and provide DJ Music as required for bookings.
